Q: Where will interviews for the film take place?
A: Currently interviews have been set up with individuals living in the following states: MA, NY, OH, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, KY, TN, RI, PA, CT
Q: When will interviews be done?
A: Interviews are currently being scheduled in MA and adjacent states. This is a small budget, non-profit documentary – so when transportation issues have been resolved and funding for travel expenses has been secured, definite dates for interviews in other east coast states will be set and confirmed.
Q: Will any interviews be done in states other than those mentioned above?
A: At this time the director (Phinehas Treptow) and producer (“V”) are considering that possibility. However, we first want to focus on finishing the interviews in the states currently planned. Depending on the total individuals from these states actually willing to do interviews, we may decide to expand to other states.
Q: How is the film being funded?
A: This film is currently being funded only by donations.
Q: Will this film ever be sold for profit?
A: When this film is produced it will be put on-line for anyone to watch for free. If enough people are interested in purchasing a DVD, they will be made available for around $5, simply enough to cover the expense of creating and shipping the DVD. Whatever small margin of profit that is attained from these potential sales will be donated to charities or used for other projects that are focused on helping current and former Jehovah’s Witnesses.
