“100 Speak Out” is a non-profit documentary film being made that will focus on the lives of former Jehovah’s’ Witnesses who want to tell their unique and very personal stories.

The purpose of the film is two-fold:

1. It will expose unethical practices that are commonly brushed under the rug by policies set in place by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Inc.
2. And – it will also reveal that thousands of former Jehovah’s Witnesses and their families have had their lives shattered because of this religious corporation. This film will focus on the stories of one hundred of those individuals.

The Watchtower Society’s leaders use emotional manipulation to control their followers, damaging the lives of thousands every year. Their policies and practices have torn apart families, split up marriages, and covered up the molestation of children and battering of wives within their congregations.

Because of the manipulative practices enforced by the Watchtower Society, millions of individuals are afraid to leave that social structure or to stand up for their own beliefs. I’ve recently spoken to at least a dozen Jehovah’s Witnesses who do not want to continue practicing the fundamentalist mandates required of them by their leaders. They admit that fear keeps them from openly standing up for their own personal values, beliefs, and welfare. They know that making this simple choice for freedom will result in their being cut-off from the own family and many lifelong friends.

“100 Speak Out” will openly discuss the realities of that fear of leaving the fundamentalist group. But it will also identify the benefits of breaking ties with the group. We know that thousands of people are currently “trapped” within this group because its social structure is based on fear and manipulation.

The Watchtower Corporation teaches its rank and file members that leaving their group will only result in sadness and misery in this lifetime. “100 Speak Out” will expose that selfish propaganda to be completely false.
